What is this stainless steel product?
This hot-rolled stainless steel plate is identified with 304 and 316L grade references and ASTM A240 as its standard reference. Those designations distinguish it from a general stainless sheet inquiry or a coil-form product. The buyer should select the specific grade required by the application instead of treating 304 and 316L as the same material. Provide plate thickness, width, length and the quantity for each size from the fabrication schedule. If the plate is intended for machinery or other industrial components, include the drawing and any surface or inspection requirements specified for that component. Suitability for a particular environment should be confirmed against the project requirements, not inferred from the stainless label alone. Packing instructions and destination complete the RFQ.
